UPWIND 50 ECO is a new (2023) aluminium hulled sailing catamaran, category A (open ocean sailing), LOA 16.95 meters / 55 ft ( incl. bowsprit ), LWL 14.95 meters / 49.05 ft, beam 7,00 meters / 23 ft.
The catamaran has 4 spacious guest cabins with queen beds ( 200 x 160 cm ), AC, LCD TV, WiFi, for up to 8 adult guests. Each cabin has its own bathroom with electric toilet & shower

While usual charter catamarans can sail upwind only at an angle of around 45-55 degrees, UPWIND 50 ECO has two centreboards which permit sailing close to the wind ( upwind ) at an angle close to 30-degrees, as a monohull, yet at higher speeds.
The UPWIND 50 ECO is an, equally important, extraordinarily eco-friendly cabin charter catamaran and skippered sailing catamaran, equipped with 10 solar panels, watermaker powered by solar energy and sanitary water heated by solar energy.
